Hasher Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Hi guysI am editing my workplace hosts files to remove unwanted time wasting websites but I am am having probelms banning hotmail. I have edited the HOSTS file with:127.0.0.1 www.hotmail.comBut people get around this by visiting http://live.com/ . I am unsuccessful at banning this and I think the probelm is that the url doesnt have 'www' as a prefix. Links like 'http://home.live.com/?mkt=en-au' get past the system.tried entries like127.0.0.1 *live.com127.0.0.1 *.live.com127.0.0.1 *.home.live.comCan anyone give me an idea how to block this site ?cheers :-) Firefox's secret is the same as Jessica Simpson's: its effortless, glamorous style is the result of shhh extensions!
