Hello,

with Win9x in the config.sys the line

SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM /P /E:1200

can be used to increase the environment's size to be able to define much more "SET FOO=BAR" variables.

Is there a way to check how much space is currently left in the environment to define more SET parameters?

Thanks, Rudi.

I don't think so. Under 2000 and up I don't think you have to worry about

that though, it should be managed automatically by the VDM.

Under Win9x just set a sufficiently large value.
