Windows DOS box: check Environment Space that's free?

Hello,

with Win9x in the config.sys the line

SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM /P /E:1200

can be used to increase the environment's size to be able to define much more "SET FOO=BAR" variables.

Is there a way to check how much space is currently left in the environment to define more SET parameters?

Thanks, Rudi.
