dec
Sorry, forum search doesn't work. Can I send something to COM port using AutoIt or I should use some external methods? Real upyachka warrior
rover
Welcome to the forums sort of.. sorry, forum search does work, albeit with search phrase limitations, but thats an 'IP Board' forum software problem, not any fault of autoitscript.com a google advanced search of the autoit domain also works "COM port" or COM port as search terms will give you the results your looking for. about 3 pages of results you just refused to practice your personal due diligence before asking I see fascists... martin
Well, I'm just non-experienced google user..Thanks a lot. There are a few ways to use the COM port. DaleHohm has this in example scripts.I have a UDF as shown in my signature. Both of these use an external dll. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
