gosu Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 I´m working on a news post script for my homepage at the moment. So I type something into the box and press 'Send'. Then it should call a php script on my homepage which inserts the data into a mysql database. I thought of 'insert.php?name=bla&message=hi%20world!'. It´s annoying to see the Browser pop up. Is there a way to call the browser hidden? When I start it with @SW_HIDE, nothing happens. scriptkitty Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 if that is all, you can just do a urldownloadtofile, or InetGet if you have the unstable. when you ask the webserver for a webpage, you are doing the same thing a browser does. $page="http://mysite.com/insert.php?name=bla&message=hi%20world!" urldownloadtofile($page,"temp.htm") filedelete("temp.htm") well something like that, with Inetget, you don't have to wait for the result.
