I have basically made a little script, so when a friend asks me to help with something about their PC, over the phone, I can have them run the script to easily email me screen shots.

I have it 100% functional, BUT --- the only way I know how to get the screen capture from the clipboard into a file, that I can then attach to an email, is to open paint, and paste it in there, and then save it.

This definitely works, but I would much prefer if there is some way to avoid this. --- Like for instance if the data on the clipboard after a screen capture, happened to be in BMP format or something, and maybe I could just put the contents into a bmp file, thus being able to skip the 'paint' step.

Any input would eb greatly appreciated.
