Tenaya Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 (edited) Hi, I want to move the main form of the Windows Media Center which is part of Windows Vista Home Premium. For some reason it doesn't work. Moving the window of notepad.exe on the same machine works fine. Any idea? Edited April 12, 2008 by Tenaya
Achilles Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Use the AutoIt window information to make sure you're getting the name right... Maybe try a different option for WinTitleMatchMode that includes the class also. My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
I think the form of the Windows Media Center has some "special" attributes. If it's in full screen mode, it is not possible to place another window over it (even not with WinSetOnTop).
Tenaya Posted April 12, 2008 Author Posted April 12, 2008 Sorry, I forgot to say I'm working with AutoItX (maybe it's the wrong forum) in combination with Visual Basic. I checked now to move the window with a dedicated AutoIt executable and it works. I will move now the window with the executable.
