need help quickly - just 2 commands

I have tried everything.

my latest attempt

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & "Rd /s/q c:\testdir")

DirCreate("C:\testdir")

exit

prior to runwait, I have copied many folders and files into c:\testdir and at this point in the script, I want to delete everything in c:\testdir.

when my script finishes, c:\testdir is not there.....

What am I brain dead about here?????

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & "Rd /S /Q c:\testdir","",@SW_HIDE)
