ossyconno Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Is there a way to set a msgbox to popup into a specfic area of a active window other than the center of the window. I know, dumb question. But what do you expect for a 12 year old. I tried everything I can think of.
Insolence Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 If you just get the window possition and stuff I think some simple math would do it for ya. "I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him." - Mark TwainPatient: "It hurts when I do $var_"Doctor: "Don't do $var_" - Lar.
ossyconno Posted December 27, 2004 Author Posted December 27, 2004 I got the postion 152, 111 but where do I put in? I add it to the end and it wants to timeout, or errors MsgBox(0, "Test", "WhyWhenHow")
Josbe Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 AFAIK, not possible with a simple MsgBox. If you want a re-positioned message, you could try with a SplashText...or a GUI Dialog. AUTOIT > AutoIt docs / Beta folder - AutoIt latest beta
ossyconno Posted December 28, 2004 Author Posted December 28, 2004 Thanks josbe, I thought I was crazy or something to that effect. I know with the progress bar you can place it anywhere on the screen or a active window you want it to popup at and I have done it. But could never get the msgbox or input box to place any postion but the center of a active window.
