GreatBarrier86
Hi, I am trying to use AutoIT's Send commands to create a VPN connection, but when i use WinWaitActive the script pauses even though the text i specified is on the screen. For instance, WinWaitActive("New Connection Wizard", "Network Connection Type") Send("{LALT}ON") It just pauses at WinWaitActive even though the text "network connection type" is listed. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks, Jason
newbiescripter
well it seems right.. Have you copied it directly from the AutoIt window info? If you haven't check if there is a space before the title like " New Connection Wizard" Regards

Hmm...how do i copy it from the AutoIT window info? Also, it's the second part that is failing. If i remove it, it works fine. The "New Connection Wizard portion works. GreatBarrier86
Ok i figured it out once i used the window info program. It turns out that there are a lot of "&" symbols used in that text. Once i placed them in the proper location, it worked fine.
