Hi, since yesterday (june 28th), AVG 8 detect AutoIt3.exe as a virus (Trojan Horse Generic10.AUFR). My AVG is always up to date. I have to manualy drag my script to AutoIt3A.exe.

There don't seen to have a forum on the AVG website, so i post that here.

AV companies adding AutoIt to their virus definitions because they find malicious scripts is a well-known problem. Please read stickies before posting things that are directly discussed in them.

No suck problem on my side.

M using AVG 8 n its updated till date.

Perhaps ur autoit.exe really was infected by some sorta virus/trojan after u downloaded it.

Try a full scan on ur comp n then download autoit n reinstall it again.

Nothing wrong with my autoit installed files n nothing wrong with autoit scripts on my comp too.

Perhaps u need to check ur comp for already present viruses/trojans wich cud be infecting certain files.

Just scanned autoit folder to be sure , n it dint find nething.

Wow. You are like the second person to say this today, and probably the 303 person to ask this overall. There is a sticky at the top of the forum.

U need to rename AutoIt3A.exe to AutoIt3.exe.

What? That has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. The solution has already been posted... twice.
