Previewing Messages, but with a catch!

Hey guys!

I want to write a program that will take text from a text box, and render them into a preview for IP.Board (this forum is powered by it). So, basically, it would behave like an offline preview function for posting messages. Fass is an example of a program that does exactly what I want.

However, in addition to that, I want to it have a built in database so that I can store certain messages in a database file that can be opened in this program.

Now, I'm stuck with the first part - creating a program like Fass. Could any of you guys give me a few pointers on how to start writing a program like it, or would it be out of Autoit's capability to do such a thing?
