Very nice work LIMITER! I really like idea of a small (single .exe) cd burner, I plan on using this tool on my pen drive. muttley

I did noticed a small typo:

$Splash = GUICreate("L|M|TER Media Player", $width, $height, -1, -1,$WS_POPUP,BitOR($WS_EX_LAYERED, $DS_MODALFRAME))

Should be?

$Splash = GUICreate("L|M|TER CD/DVD Burner", $width, $height, -1, -1,$WS_POPUP,BitOR($WS_EX_LAYERED, $DS_MODALFRAME))

Also, I would love .ISO support (burn cd/dvd from image)!

That's why you should get RW-discs, the ability to rewrite is worth much more than the added costs to buy them!

Remember that DVD+RW is superior to DVD-RW

As I said before, this is a program designed specifically for Vista (but it should work on XP, theoretically - I tested it in VMWare, except the burning part, which is still an unknown path). The hotfix removes the 'subscript used with non-array' error when browsing for directories on XP.

I'll test it as soon as I buy a CD-RW and a DVD-RW muttley

Why don't you test if _IMAPI2_GetDrivesID() returned an array? If it didn't then you know that IMAPI2 doesn't work correctly and you can output an error message and close.
