These are a realistic request whereas asking for OOP would ellicit an angry response.One response to the native array functionality, and other requests, has been that the interpreter engine needs to be a single, small, tight binary. The Devs don't want the .exe to get fat. Its more than I know to calculate how many KB might have to be added to the .exe for each of those functions, but I do know that is a major concern.
