i would like to use the SEARCH function in IE to make the loaded page scroll and position to the text "to find"

this will only open the default internet Search page (google) but how can i open the Search dialog (ctrl-f) and search for text ?

_IELoadWait($oIE)

_IEAction($oIE, "search") ; opens google---

unfortunatly its not active - i have embedded the IE control in an autoit GUI window - so the focus Send ("^f") comes to the AUTOIT gui, not IE :-(

Did you try it with ControlSend()?
