Champak
I'm having an issue with msvidwebdvd object and vista. It plays a DVD but does not produce sound on Vista and I can't figure out why. XP it is fine. You can see the code to invoke it here:http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...st&p=559579And more about the object here:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms787385(VS.85).aspxThanks. kjactive
I realy don't know but it's all freeware sound record apps that has this trouble... Some say that MS has put in a filter not letting peoble be able to rip off music but I realy don't know - try google 'vista sound trouble' an easy walk around is to make a hup between lineout and Microphone in ( line with a jack in both ends ) and record though the microphone recorder that do not has this %&88 well never tryed but some peoble has with success kjactive Edited August 31, 2008 by kjactive Au3PP 4.1 - Autoit3 preprocessor, optimize speed, performance to scripts and do executes....Au3Calibur - Create libraries of commonly used code excerptsWords manipulate UDF, functions that is lent from the rexx language, topics and index file includedCustomDialog UDF to include custom made dialogs like a extended colorpick requester to scripts...SysColor UDF a low level color library to manipulate RGB and Hex values...Shell32 UDF to Automate Windows® operating tasks from native dialog and Wizards browsers... Champak
This is something I think I'm just going to write off as "I can't be bothered", and wait until Vista fixes this or shows how to work around it. 'vista sound trouble' is only going to turn up a million things mostly having to do with the general sound issues just about everyone experienced when this thing rolled out; and when you put scripting/programming/coding in it, you get a bunch of people in the same boat. Oh well. ....to be continued....when Vista actually works/behaves/is user friendly.
