JRowe
Basically, I'm curious about modifying the windows shell. I'm currently using Windowblinds and a few other stardock products, and there's a few things I'd like to change. I also realized that most of what is being done is simple replacement of built in cosmetics. Skin studio is nothing more glamorous than a resource editor with a GUI customized for the task of skinning the windows shell. How hard would it be to use AutoIt to skin the windows shell? I already know you can control the taskbar, modify menus, co-opt the desktop context menu and so on. JRowe
Hmm, open mouth, insert foot. I should know enough to search before asking these days. Just found the XSkin shell scripts and so on.
