Can't compile script - Get an Error Message

So I have a autoit v3 script file and every time I right click and go to Compile.... It gives me an error message that says this:

The top of the message box says: Auto2exe Error

The message says: Error: Error opening the destination file.

Is there any way to fix this? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance!

Happend to me.

I did the compile option in scite then it started working on reboot

What is the script name?

Does the target EXE already exist?

Is this program running at the moment you try to compile?

You're right! All I had to do was reboot my computer and it worked! Thanks soooo much!
