Yargo
Hi all, Say I have a script which had been compiled and resides on my local PC. Is there a way to determine if it the user who runs it uses a "double-click" and runs it from the GUI or he opened a cmd and ran it from there? TIA, Yargo
Andreik
Hi all, Say I have a script which had been compiled and resides on my local PC. Is there a way to determine if it the user who runs it uses a "double-click" and runs it from the GUI or he opened a cmd and ran it from there? TIA, Yargo Search in help file about $CmdLine. IF $CmdLine[0] > 0 then script was started from cmd. Edited September 9, 2008 by Andreik When the words fail... music speaks.
Moderators SmOke_N Posted September 9, 2008 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2008 Check the parent process, if it doesn't have one... it was started without any assistance from another application. I've written a function to get the parent process, look for _ProcessGetParent(). Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
