I used resourcehacker to place the icons and images in the .dll file.

Possibly add a auto-update feature and store the version in the .dll and hide it in the windows directory?

Sweett!! You should also have a look at L|M|TERS LMP, it loads all the songs, really fast!

if speed is really an issue, i can lower the sleep time.

it could really go lightning fast, i just like seeing the traytips saying "adding this song".

There is an option category right? You could always add: "Use Lightning speed when loading songs", and don't use the traytips with that option! Edited September 13, 2008 by Alienware

or how about this.

what if it checks how many songs have to be added, and if were over like 20, it would use a lower sleep time?

and if there are over 100, it could use even less sleep.

right now there is a sleep(200) between adding songs and a sleep(400) between converting, resizing, and adding images.

im sure i can already split the sleep amounts in half.

I like this alot. It inspired me to begin working on my own (Which I'm not planning on releasing here. We have more than enough media players around here )
