accessing elements with no controller definition

Hey guys,

I would like to know how to access elements inside a custom controller, when those elements are checkboxes, lines of text etc and are not given any controller definition

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Could you suggest a few functions?...iam running out of ideas.....

Is there any possible way to define custom control to those objects within the single custom control that i had mentioned prior to this?
