Mapped drive /persistent command

Hi everyone,

Just got a quick question which relates to some code i've had problems with. I have now fixed it but wondering if i'm right in thinking the following:.

I think that windows only uses /persistent with mapped drives during login, therefore if my PC is already logged in and I connect a NAS drive then this will not be persistent and I will have to manually open the backup drive before it shows as connected?.

It seems like all the problems I've had actually point to this sort of thing and just wondering if i'm thinking correctly for future reference
