How to find the menucommand id numbers for SciTE?

Hi,

I'm attempting to call menucommand funcs in SciTE but I have no idea how to find the menu id numbers. It looks like a lot of people on the board are hard-coding them ala:

"_SciTE_Send_Command(0, $Scite_hwnd, "menucommand:303")"

...so _GUICtrlMenu_GetItemID sounds like a hack. I downloaded a few of Microsoft's control-peeking utils but still no luck.

So,..where are you guys finding this info? Did I miss a memo or something?

They are listed in the SciTE.h source file available at the SciTE CVS.

I have made a toolbar for SciTE that will show you what you need. The script is very old, and will need updating. However, you will get the idea on how to do what you have in mind. http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25076

Volly, it was your toolbar that got my whole Autoit ball rolling many moons ago. I still say it kicks a lot of buttocks. I just got laid off from my job so I'm picking up where I left off on some new SciTE gizmos. Stay tuned,...but don't get your hopes up!!
