IKilledBambi
SendKeyDelay isn't what I'm looking for. Send("frank") MouseMove(4, 124) Send("Frank has a sister") I'm trying to decrease the time it takes for AI to go to the next line of code.

Perhaps: MouseMove(4, 124, 0); 0 Speed = instantly Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... IKilledBambi
@ psalty, not what I'm looking for, @jos I didn't think having a faster computer would change that at all. Is that the only thing to try?

Valuater
Actually, I have found that Send() is very slow. ControlSetText() is much faster, however it will remove the last text and a control ID is required 8) Edited January 18, 2009 by Valuater
IKilledBambi
I'm not trying to increase how fast it sends the letters, I'm trying to increase how fast it goes from one command to another.
Developers Jos Posted January 18, 2009 Developers Share Posted January 18, 2009 I'm not trying to increase how fast it sends the letters, I'm trying to increase how fast it goes from one command to another. What is the difference? Isn't it the case that when a line is completed faster that the next line is executed sooner ?Maybe you could explain what you mean with your question because you are pretty vague up till now.Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past. IKilledBambi
I'm moving the mouse to the left, and at the same time pressing the a key. then I let go of the a key and at the same time i press the d key and move the mouse right, but its not nearly close enough to pressing the d key and moving the mouse right at the same time. Moderators SmOke_N Posted January 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 18, 2009 Keep in mind that AutoIt won't go to the next line of code until the line it is currently on is done.So in your example, SendKeyDelay does make a difference, as well as setting the speed to MouseMove() to zero or 1. The faster the settings, and ultimately the speed of the PC, will help in faster execution of code. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
FireFox
@SmOke_N yes Opt("SendKeyDelay", 0) Opt("SendKeyDownDelay", 0) Send("Im sent very fast !") Cheers, FireFox.
