i remember a code to save text without even opening notepad it just made a text fie at a specific location. if some one could tell me what is is that would be great. Thanks

well yes, and if you dont want the file after you exit the program, use Filedelete() also for .INI files, Iniwrite() Iniwritesection() ext.... its all in the helpfile
