exporting data from a page into an excel sheet using autoit?

I am working with AutoIT. I am automating a web application - i need to change some settings on a webpage i launch (which i have done already) and i need to export some other values that get changed as a result of the above settings change into an excel sheet. This needs to be done multiple times - once i get an idea about exporting data using Auto It into an excelsheet or word doc, the rest should be easy.

I just wanted to know if this task is possible with Auto It and if yes, sample syntax would be great!

Try saving data as csv files, there are csv udf's in the Examples forum.
