PoojaKrishna
Hi friends, Is there any faster method to import information from a text file to an Access data base, other than, reading each line of text file, splitting it and inserting into the table? Regards, Pooja.

DaRam
Pooja, You can using the ADO text driver. If your text file is CSV or other delimited file you could try using this as the connection string:"Driver={Microsoft Text Driver (*.txt;*.csv)};Dbq=" & $FileLocationAndName & ";Extensions=asc, csv, tab, txt;"Edit: to correct Conn. String. Thanks for the reply. Is there any ADO method for doing that directly from my script?Pooja. Edited March 18, 2009 by DaRam
