spanga Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 (edited) Hi. Dunno if this should be posted in the bug-forum or not, but since I haven't got a solution and doesn't know if I or AutoIt is wrong - I will post it in here. On my first computer, Soundplay() plays both wav and mp3. On this computer, it does not. Only wav files are heard. However, the program is doing something while it runs a function call with a mp3 file. I am calling the function like this: SoundPlay("2.mp3", 1) I can play the mp3-file in other programs, such as WMP or Winamp. The difference between computer one and this computer is that computer one got a SB sound card, this one has mobo-integrated AC97. Both computers run WinXp Sp1. Edit: Now I have discovered that if I run the program, it is quiet, but if I start another one while still having the first program started "playing" the second instance of the program is playing the file so it can be heard. What could be wrong? Edited March 6, 2005 by spanga
dwelcher Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 If you double-click the speaker icon in the tray area, are there any sliders turned down or muted? I mean besides microphone and tad-in. Take care, -Dw --- People who think they know everything greatly annoy those of us who do.
spanga Posted March 8, 2005 Author Posted March 8, 2005 No, as I wrote I can hear wave files but no mp3-files unless I have two instances of the program running.
