If i may give a suggestion...Make the file "Read Only" after its created...Once created, and you DO want to

rewrite the"ini" file, just take the attributes out, write your new ini, replace attributes...and whalla

Use Select...Case...EndSelect structure because it's better suited in this case, in my opinion at least. If you don't want your ini to get tampered with why use it in first place? Why don't you use the registry? At least, you can make the ini file with the system attribute so it's usually hidden by default on most Windows systems.
