makogen Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Hi, Previously I wrote a script to interface with website that pulls account information from the database. I used the IE.au3 to make it work, and it worked really well. Here's the thing. They just upgraded the site so that most of the controls and functions are in javascript. Is there a way to interface with this with IE.au3 or is there a javascript udf that I can use? Please point me in the right direction, I love autoIt Thanks
Valuater Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) There is no "java script" UDF here AFAIK. However if you post the info/script Dale or another will come along eventually and help out. But the info is needed. Post the problem each step of the way ( including your code ) and maybe the actual java script text for that problem area. I am sure it can be done! 8) Edited April 23, 2009 by Valuater
DaleHohm Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Also, please consider using DebugBar to look at your pages if you are not doing so already. If you are trying to access inforamtion on the page generated by client-side Javascript, be aware that once it is rendered it is plain HTML - DebugBar's interpretted source view will shouw this to you. If you need to invoke Javascript functions while interacting with the page, then more detail is required, but as Val says, it is all possible.
