jim1 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 i have many avi videos(55-60)with length 20-26 mins and i want to open next avi after the one before ends but i dont know how to make a program that will see when the avi file is over so it can open the next one. any idea how?
evilertoaster Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) Maybe use http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25859 to find out the duration of the video and start the next one after waiting that many seconds. Edited June 9, 2009 by evilertoaster
Inverted Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Doesn't Media Player support queing/playlists or something ?
dillonlim Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 You used to be able to call Windows Media Player from the command prompt and use the /close option to close Windows Media Player once the video is done playing. You could try using VLC instead. VLC has a "vlc://quit" command which closes that particular instance once the video is done playing.
