whoover
I have an adobe air application that interfaces with an rfid reader that goes into a fullscreen mode when a tag is outside the range of the reader- at which point all other applications cannot be viewed/accessed including alt+tab, ctrl+alt+del. When a tag is within the range of the reader the air app is minimized to the system tray and the lock is released. All of the described features are already implemented except for the locking capability. Is there a way in autoit that can enable this type of locking mechanism? If so, how could a communication channel be establish between the air application and the autoit script (I thought of writing/reading a registery value, but thought this might be cpu heavy because it would require polling the registry for the change in the autoit script)? The closest thing I could find in the forum is http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...10&hl=kiosk and http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...=kiosk&st=0 which doesn't seem to do exactly what I'm looking for Edited June 24, 2009 by whoover
