Need help reading text in a window?

Hi, i do have a program that logs events in a richedit box. I would like to raise alerts when certain keywords are loggued in that control.

Is it possible with autoit to read text within a richedit control?

The autoit window info tool does provide many info when i pass the mouse over the richedit box
