As the title says, I would like to know if there is anything like "Jump to line number xx". Would be usefull sometimes. Thanks.

darkmaster071,

Read all about why there is no "Go to" in Autoit here: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/faq.htm#4

Just structure your code correctly and you really do not need it. ;-)

Nope. Goto was removed. It only leads to bad code.

I agree this is the best way of doing this. It also leads to a better coding style. Make lots of functions!

Ah, thanks. I know i dont really need it but sometimes it would be easier to just type "goto x" :)

And _GoHere () is so much more work? lol

Dating a girl is just like writing software. Everything's going to work just fine in the testing lab (dating), but as soon as you have contract with a customer (marriage), then your program (life) is going to be facing new situations you never expected. You'll be forced to patch the code (admit you're wrong) and then the code (wife) will just end up all bloated and unmaintainable in the end.

What if you want to jump right in the middle of a function ? Not all smartass answers are smart :)

Anyway, I never needed a goto in AutoIt, it hasn't even crossed my mind I think.

Lurch was making a joke. He just wrote a new function name. It's easy to define new functions.

Oh...inside jokes :) ...lol
