Insolence Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Is there any way to edit an html file, add new lines, edit lines, much like an INI? "I thoroughly disapprove of duels. CyberSlug Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I think the best you can do with AutoIt is to use the FileReadLine--the Help file has a good example--to read in the file. You could then write out a new file (making changes as you go). Finally, delete the old file and replace it with the new one. I don't think you can easily insert text at an arbitrary line number. Hope that helps Use Mozilla | Take a look at My Disorganized AutoIt stuff | Very very old: AutoBuilder 11 Jan 2005 prototype I need to update my sig!
Insolence Posted December 13, 2003 Author Posted December 13, 2003 AutoIT should have a feature to do this, heh, HTMLWrite "I thoroughly disapprove of duels.
