OK, so I'm taking baby steps into GUIs, using KODA (great btw).  I just have a basic FORM, with a picture as the background, one label which I'm trying to have pop up a msgbox when I click it.  However it is not working:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=
$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 768, 648, 192, 124)
$Pic1 = GUICtrlCreatePic("C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\koda_1.7.3.0\background.jpg", 0, 0, 800, 703)
$Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("test button", 384, 104, 29, 25)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1
$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
Switch $nMsg
Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
Exit

Case $Label1
msgbox(0, "TEST", "I CLICK BUTTON YAY!")
EndSwitch
WEnd

Why when I click on the label am I not getting a msgbox.  However the same code works when I remove the $Pic1 line...

For extra credit, my background picture has a bunch of buttons already on it.  Can I make invisible labels that I can put on top of the background image that are clickable?

Thanks.

If a picture is set as a background picture the other controls will overlap, so it is important to disable the pic control: GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_DISABLE).

From the help file.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
