thank you Master Jos. I solved my problem from your answer of this thread... I set Default encoding to UTF-8 and then things work great. before this often appear garbled in chinese characters pasted from other sources.

sorry for my inexperience. i need to get the running status of a script, like processexist( ) for a .exe file or winexist( ) for a window. is there's a function or Marco to indicate if the specified script is runnig ? you know every script only get autoit3.exe process running in background. How to know the script name that autoexe3.exe process executing? what is it , or how to do such thing simply ? thanks very much.
