  1. A simple, no-nonsense approach to acquiring a filetype String. Reads the Registry for the given filename's extension, finds the classname for the extension, then returns the filetype String for the classname. Pretty straightforward. Returns "Directory Tree" for directories. Use at will. UPDATE 08/06/13: - Added file to track downloads. UPDATE 10/16/2012: - Added WinAPIEx usage in new method. - Various other improvements as outlined by guinness. Code removed, replaced with download: GetFileType.au3 Regards, Cyberbit
