    This may be old news, but being on the delayed update channel, I only recently upgraded to the 1709 version of Win10 (and all subsequent patches), and checking its telemetry settings afterwards (don't like to be tracked), I discovered that the telemetry settings I'd manually switched off long ago had magically been turned back on again. I presume this may happen with other major Win10 updates as well. So if you're wondering about the current status of these settings in your own Win10 environment, there are numerous free tools to check and change them (I'm currently using ShutUp10). YMMV. Just thought I'd mentioned it.
