What formats can _SoundOpen() open?

The usual stuff, like mp3 wav and propably a few more. You could just try playing your file, and if you hear something it works >_<

But why do you ask? If you are making a media player it would be better to use some other UDF.

Info,

The Sound.au3 UDF uses the WINMM.DLL. Theoretically it will work on any format for which Windows has a CODEC installed. Personally I have used it for MP3, WMA and WAV files. Please let me know if it works for others.

I know the _SoundLen function uses the Windows properties values for anything other than MP3, because I wrote it that way! So if it does not work for the format you want to use and you want to write an addition to the UDF, please let me know. New code is always welcome - as long as it works... >_<

Well then _SoundOpen() should work as long as you don't use a too exotic file. MP3 or WMA should work fine (most of the time anyway, it's far from as perfect as Melba makes it sound).
