Guest voltfromtheblue
Newbie here - if this is something covered elsewhere (I have looked but you know what it's like when your new!), I apoligise in advance.... How do I interrogate a menu item to return the text displayed? ControlGetText looks the obvious candidate but doesn't allow a menu structure as a parameter (does it?). When I use the spy to see if there is a control name available (maybe menus don't have controls - sorry, I'm not a developer, I'm a system tester), the menus seem to be invisible and it merely reports the objects that are underneath the menu. Guest voltfromtheblue
Yep - one of my colleagues has got this to work, but I get an error on line 42 saying: $hMenu = GetSystemMenu($hWnd) Any ideas? Do I need a particular version of AutoIT? Or of Windows (although I am on XP)?
