How to do a drop down box

5 posts in this topic

Can someone point me in the right directions on how to do drop down boxes? What I’m trying to do is select a file as you would do in windows explorer but I want to pass the location to a variable. Something like input box.

Smiley357,

Does the Help file page for GUICtrlCreateCombo not give you enough information to create a combo?

M23,

Thanks for responding. That’s what I’m wanting to do but how can you browse for the file location like you do in windows explorer? Thats the part that is giving me trouble.

It took some time but I found what I was looking for. Maybe this can help someone else.

FileSelectFolder - Initiates a Browse For Folder dialog.

Smiley357,

Glad you found what you wanted. I had completely the wrong idea from your first post. >_<
