Passing output parameters

Hi,

is there any way to pass output from an AutoIt script such that I can use it in my C++ program? I know I can use any appropriate script with input parameters by calling them in the command line (autoit3.exe add.au3 2 3). But how can I retrieve the output (it's in a variable in the script) from such scripts and use them in my C++ program? I've tried writing the output to a file and then using c++ functions to retrieve them. But I found it to be kind of slow (especially, waiting for the file to be written to hard disk).

You can use standard streams. Write output from AutoIt with ConsoleWrite and capture it in C++.

I believe you must compile your AutoIt script into CUI.
