printing controls

2 posts in this topic

Hi,

I want to create an application which will take a user input "Record Number", fetch corresponding data from MySQL and print the data on a bank cheque (bank check).

The critical part is printing text at exact positions on the cheque (check) like NAME, AMOUNT, Amount in words, DATE etc. Since cheques (checks) are pre-printed, we have to be very accurate in printing the data the the right position.

Please suggest how can I do this.

Thx

Vai

Have a look at my print udf. There is a link in my signature and in the first post I give links to other udfs which don't use a dll like mine does.

With that you can print in any font in any colour in any size or style in any position, and other things. My udf uses units of 0.1mm for positions (4 thousandths of an inch) which I expect is accurate enough for what you need.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
