Im writing a program for a friend, and I'm doing protection for his site, this is the protection code, so if his site gets entered in the url a popupbox will popup, and it will then close the script:

If $var1 = "http://infantryzone.net/forums/..." Or

"http://www.infantryzone.net/forums/..." Then
MsgBox(0, "Site Protection", "This site is protected: ", $var1)
         Exit
    EndIf

If another site is put in there, it should run, however even if a diff site is entered in, the popup still comes, please help.

Thanks Lakai.

i don't understand your logic, your saying If this variable = "http://infantryzone.net/forums/..." Or it is true that "http://www.infantryzone.net/forums/..." is a string then do this

If anyone remembers me, I am back. Maybe to stay, maybe not.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Things I am proud of: Pong! in AutoIt | SearchbarMy website: F.R.I.E.S.A little website that is trying to get started: http://thepiratelounge.net/ (not mine) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The newbies need to stop stealing avatars!!! It is confusing!!

that if someone types his link into that box, that popup box will popup, and if its another site like www.google.com that is typed, it will go to that website.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Why would I download this script, install this script, and then use it to access websites knowing it will block 1 web site...
Start -> Programs -> AutoIt v3 -> AutoIt Help File -> Index -> (The Function you are asking about)----- Links -----DllStruct UDFsRSA Crypto UDFs

let me word what i said differently

Your script is saying

If $var1 = "http://infantryzone.net/forums/..." Or It is true that "http://www.infantry.zone.net/forums/..." is a string Then
blah, blah, blah

i don't understand how you expect that to ever return false...
