Zachlr Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hi, I'm looking for a way to log off the user before/when the computer is put into standby mode. I want the computer to simulate being shutdown by logging off (closing all applications) and going into standby mode. This would be easy if I used a program to put the computer into standby mode as well, but I have set the power button to standby mode, and I want the user to be logged off before it goes into standby mode. I don't care if it uses an AutoIt script or the shutdown -l command, or any other way of doing it. As I said, I'm just trying to simulate a shutdown without actually shutting down. Thanks, Zach
