Shafayat
Is there any alternative to fileinstall(). Probably a UDF or something like that. I need something that can add some data to my exe whenever it is run. Is there any way to do it? Best Regards Shafayat [Not using this account any more. Juvigy
It is possible but quite complicated. Why do you need that?
Shafayat
I need that because I am writing a software that will travel on 200 computers. On everyone it will be run once. Each time it will acquire some information (approx. 1kb). So after a full cycle (through the 200 computers) it will return to the main pc where it will be analyzed. This must be done using an exe that puts the data in itself and no external files must be included. I do not require this but my boss does and I just can not convince him to use any alternatives. (Why do bosses try to make our lives living hell? ) Help me if you can Regards Shafayat [Not using this account any more. Shafayat
Thank you very much Manadar. This should solve my problem, I think. And about my boss, well he is always like that. But I'm very much well paid (Almost twice what other companies offered) and I also get a lot of vacations. Yet, when it is a workday, he just makes me work for every penny he gives . This is why I'm still working. Thanks Everyone Sayem Shafayat [Not using this account any more. Using "iShafayet" instead]
