Hypertrophy
If I created a tooltip on a control like this GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "TipText"), would it be possible to retrieve the tooltip text later. If so, how?
Hawkwing
Declare the tooltip string as a variable and use that. The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. Hypertrophy
You mean save it as a variable and then use the variable later? I was more into thinking that I can get the tooltip from the control like control info that shows up in Window Spy.
Hawkwing
You have brought this up before, and bogQ gave you working code. If there's a reason that that doesn't suit your needs, then how about letting us know, or actually you should probably do what bogQ suggested in the first place and search. This has been brought up a few times before. The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.
