rosaz
Hello, Yet another BMC Remedy question... I'm a bit of a slow learner I'm trying to open a request management search form and query it for a given request ID, but when I try to query, it just sits there! I don't want to use LoadForm and just use the request ID, because I'll also need to be able to search by other fields as well. I can't tell what's wrong with my query syntax... would be most grateful for any suggestions! $oMyError = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", "MyErrFunc") ; Initialize a COM error handler $oRemedy = ObjGet("", "Remedy.User.1") $oRemedyForm = $oRemedy.OpenForm($iSession, "pscars01.ps.net", "Request Management", 2, True) $oID = $oRemedyForm.GetField("Request ID") $queryresult = $oRemedyForm.Query("'Request ID' = 1111111")
dayton967
$queryresult = $oRemedyForm.Query("'Request ID' = 1111111") This should be $queryresult = $oRemedyForm.Query("'Request ID' = ""1111111""")
BrewManNH
Pretty sure that the OP doesn't need this information after 5 years of waiting, not to mention s/he hasn't been here in over 2 years. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
