styles3000
Hello, I'm looking to move files in a more direct way instead of copying and pasting. How can I instruct AutoIT to go to D:\Documents and Settings\T... J....\Desktop\HOME-MASTER-PHP.html and copy it once.Than take that copy go to "D:\Documents and Settings\T... J....\My Documents\One a be HyperVRE Webpages", before dropping off "HOME-MASTER-PHP.html" in the One a be HyperVRE Webpages folder, how can I first create a new folder within "One a be HyperVRE Webpages" naming it after my $Firstline variable(the names vary, for now we'll call it "Thanksgiving". After that folder is created and named how do I then send the "HOME-MASTER-PHP.html" ?

Can't you just use FileCopy and use 8 for the flag so that a directory is created if needed. $from = "D:\Documents and Settings\T... J....\Desktop\HOME-MASTER-PHP.html" $to = "D:\Documents and Settings\T... J....\My Documents\One a be HyperVRE Webpages"& "\" & $Firstline & "\HOME-MASTER-PHP.html" FileCopy($from,$to,8) Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
